Kootenay Resources Inc. (TSX-V: KTRI) is an exploration company actively engaged in the exploration and discovery mineral projects in British Columbia, Canada. The Company was formed as a spin-out of Kootenay Silver Inc. (TSXV: KTN) in which prospective Canadian assets were transferred to Kootenay Resources Inc. The transaction was completed in October 2021, Kootenay Silver Inc. currently holds ~5.4 million common shares of Kootenay Resources Inc.
Moyie Anticline Project
Kootenay Resources’ Flagship Moyie Anticline Project is located 25km east of Creston, B.C. and 20km south of Cranbrook, B.C. The Moyie Anticline Project has significant discovery potential based on its geological and structural setting. Kootenay is actively exploring the region for a large scale, “Tier One”, multi-generation mine-life copper, lead, zinc +/- silver deposit.
Nechako Generative Program
The Nechako Plateau, located in central British Columbia, Canada, hosts many significant mineral deposits including Artemis Gold’s Blackwater Au-Ag Project, Centerra’s Mt Milligan Cu-Mo Mine and inactive Endako Mo Mine, Imperial Metals’ historical Huckleberry Cu Mine, the historical Equity Silver Mine, and Silver Queen Deposit. The area is underlain by Cretaceous and Tertiary aged volcanics, sediments in addition to coeval to younger igneous intrusions.
